ALEX FAULDER Principal
Alex’s passion for nature and the environment has lead to founding Northern Rivers Land & Environment Services. Alex has combined his land and environment experience and qualifications with his extensive history of working in construction as a quantity surveyor, site manager, design manager and project manager. Alex has produced various weed, property and vegetation restoration plans and bushfire amelioration and control burn management plans for private clients.

DR. MICHAEL POWELL Affiliate
Michael’s early career was in construction, however his subsequent career has been in the environmental field and as a tutor in ecology, statistics and biology. He is an adjunct lecturer at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Michael’s post graduate studies focused on the impacts of loss and fragmentation of regional rainforests on the distribution of some of our most vulnerable endemic species including Macadamia species.
IAIN STYCH Affiliate
Iain’s initial career was as a zoo keeper working for zoos in Australia, Scotland and New Zealand including Werribee Open Range Zoo, Melbourne Zoological Gardens, Healesville Sanctuary and Auckland and Edinburgh Zoos. He has over 20 years experience including working on threatened species programs and as a wildlife supervisor and wildlife project supervisor. Iain’s later career has been as field worker then field operations supervisor in bush regeneration in the Northern Rivers area as well as a Green Corps team leader. Iain is also a keen wildlife photographer and has a number of published photographs.
